Wow! Natasha Bowen's writing is amazing. I felt so immersed in this story. Her descriptions of the cold of the Ocean, the warmth of the sun, the pain in Simi's legs and feet were so visceral. Her writing engaged all my senses and I felt like I was there with them on this epic adventure. I absolutely loved all the mythical creatures. I've heard a lot of people mention this book but I feel like people should be raving about it. It deserves more enthusiastic hype I reckon. Also I couldn't stop thinking that it would make a fantastic animated series... I want that adaptation please
