WOW, remember how I really disliked These Violent Delights.

How did I go from being emotionless to holding it back?
This improved on everything.
Well, I loved this one.
The switch from enemies to lovers occurred again and also we got gay romance!
The first half of the book was pretty fast-paced and dramatic.
Some of the political stuff was meh, but book 1 was so slow-paced that I preferred this.
I must applaud Miss Gong for making the ending very tragic, not straying from the ending of Romeo and Juliette. Also, Juliette is such a badass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first page made me utterly hooked, the story starts off fast and strong.
Suffering through These Violent Delights to get to this, I think it's worth it now.
Literally, everything I didn't like in TVD was fixed here.
