My best friend has been telling me to read these for years because we're twilight girlies who love a nice long series with twists and turns. It was after my tattoo artist recommended these that I decided it was time (also because the series was finished and I hate waiting for the next book to be published).

I went in knowing that there would at least be some vampire action, but the rest was unknown. Grace just lost her parents and got to go to school in a freaking castle in Alaska and she meets the bad boy who wants to stay away but can't (very Edward coded we love it) and Macy keeps trying to help without actually helping.

It was going good, pretty mellow with some scares then EVERYTHING gets revealed real fast and she settles on the fact this is her new normal a little too soon to be believable but we love her nonetheless. Then shit soon hits the fan and is crazy, it slows, and then we end with a bang. Immediately starting the next book, thanks for that.
