This book is insanely well crafted, the writing is solid all the way through, the pov's have clear tone shifts so you can feel who's mind you're in with ease, all the characters have depth and believable motives for even the worst behaviours, the fairytale tie-ins are actually insane that she managed to weave so much into one story and it be perfectly cohesive... I'm genuinely just so impressed.
It also made me realise that I don't think I've ever read a book that's so heavily Jewish which seems like something I should rectify going forward.
If my rating system made any outward sense this would absolutely be a 5 star book but unfortunately all my 5 stars are books that in my opinion were written *for me* and this definitely isn't my type of story but it's still absolutely undeniably an excellent book that I can't wait to buy a physical copy of
