Emotions, lots of emotions and even more emotions. This book was a mixture of suppressed laughter and suppressed tears because I don’t like to show my emotions when I’m reading—there’s nothing like explaining to your loved ones why you’re crying uncontrollably in front of your e-reader.

I loved discovering Naomi and rediscovering Otto and Diego—although I was also happy to see Kenzi, Donovan and Jason again. Adora Crooks really has an incredible gift for making you care about her main characters, although to be honest, like Kenzi, I also wanted to shake Otto up a bit.

The Truth or Dare series is one I highly recommend. I’m now going to read the latest book in the series, The Pink Lantern, and find out more about Joan’s story.
