I came into Basgaith with skepticism and high expectations. While I wouldn’t agree with the “like crack” descriptions the booktok girlies are giving FW, I would say that it was a mostly enjoyable read and that the last 10 chapters really brought it together.
The smut is cringey af though so I’m glad there are only a couple of scenes.
My biggest complaints mostly revolve around 2 things: cliche conversational writing and the romantic build up seemingingly both too fast and too slow.
