I enjoyed reading this book and it reminded me of Her Husband's Daughter in some ways.
Morgan and Chris are high school sweethearts who get married when Morgan discovers she is pregnant at 16. Morgan watches out for her sister Jenny who dates Chris' best friend Noah. A tragedy happens and Morgan and and her daughter Clara's life are turned upside down. Clara pulls away from her mother to deal with her grief and turn to Miller Adams, a classmate and someone her parents did not want her to be around.
