Read for the January 2025 Sapphfic Book Club readalong.
I did really enjoy this book, but... I was disappointed with the lack of content in the book about the lead characters falling in love or any spice between them (it is quite good for a younger audience though!). That being said it was still an excellent read dispite it actually being the size of a large house brick ;-). The world building and character development is very good and it contains diverse relationships between men and women, both gay and straight from various backgrounds and religions. You just can't please everyone though and as a Sapphic fiction romance fan I'd say about 98% of this story is not a Sapphic romance dispite what other reviews and recommendations had lead me to believe. It is however a great fantasy book about dragons with a diverses cast of characters.
