ARC Review
I really enjoyed this story. This was a quick, fun, fast paced read.
In this story we have Jace, an ex MMA fighter and Nolan, my sweet baby.
Nolan and Jace meet when Nolan is mugged and Jace steps in to help him.
Jace is a former MMA fighter who was injured and lost everything. He works during the day and volunteers at a gym at night.
Nolan works for his father’s company and has wealth but I found him to be very humble actually. Both of them have issues they have to work through. I love how Nolan handled his dad, it hurt my heart for him but toxic is toxic, he deserved better.
These two have great chemistry. Their story is very sweet. I liked how there were small time jumps, not that I don’t enjoy instalove, but a lot of shorter books and novellas tend to throw me off with the whole “hey we’ve known each other two days let’s get married.” The small jumps made the story more….realistic or believable. I don’t want to give too much away, but I definitely recommend this book.
