Chasing the Boogeyman by Richard Chizmar

5.0

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It started off a tad slow, but once I got into the meat of the story I couldn't put it down. Reads like true crime (complete with pictures of the "victims" and "crime scenes") and kinda has a Virgin Suicides vibe. I thought I knew who the killer was and I was wrong! This is such a great tribute to the author's hometown. I will be reading the sequel.
