This book is not for everyone. Please adhere to the trigger warnings mentioned in the author's website. This is my first dark romance book and my first by this author. I found the first part of the book interesting but the plot got convoluted in the latter half and Blakely had no backbone till the end and didn't even stand up to the lies and the manipulation particularly by Ryat. She just accepted every manipulation he and her family has done to her. And while I wasn't expecting the ending, I also thought it was just added for more drama and to further f*cked up Blakely. I also didn't buy the "love" story. I'm interested in Tyson's story though so I might continue this series.
