working my way through TJR’s backlist and SHE CAN DO NO WRONG I SWEAR 😍😍
what I thought was going to be a light and fluffy romance turned out to be a gut-wrenching multiverse spiraling emo romance that had me bawling by the end 🥹🥹 it was absolutely so well written!
while the romance in this one didn’t consume my soul like some of her others, the back and forth element between universes had me swooning!! on her first night in LA, hannah chooses to either go out with her best friend, gabby, or go out with her former boyfriend, ethan - and the story follows both storylines in the choices she makes.
finding stories about making choices that will alter your life path is so so scary (and something I’m in the middle of right now oops), but I loved how TJR wrote this one. it was a little bit of que sera sera and a little bit of “choose your own fate” - which gives me hope for not only my future but the future of other universe mes as well
and you know the plot is good when even I couldn’t choose between golden retriever ethan and hot nurse henry 🫢 can I have both please???
don’t sleep on TJR’s backlist folks!!!!
rating: 5 stars
