Hate to break it to you, but
there's no such thing as ghosts.

It was interesting, but terribly boring (is that a bit ambivalent?), it didn't have as much influence on me as I thought it would have. 

Chloe was a bit dull character, but at least she was a lovable character with an interest ability. Derek was very strange, but I felt sorry for him. 

The plot was perhaps too long, forced, predictable and again boring. Overall, it was good for a read, but I don't really want to continue.
