Daphne and Monty’s dynamic was perfection. Their chemistry practically leapt off the page! I wasn’t Monty’s biggest fan at first—he came across as distant and cold—but that’s the brilliance of his character arc. Once you see everything simmering under the surface, it’s impossible not to fall for him. And Daphne? She was an absolute gem! I felt every bit of her heartbreak, her awkwardness, and her determination, and I couldn’t help but root for her.

Araminta was another standout—her complete disregard for societal norms and social cues had me laughing out loud. It feels like the next book might focus on her, and I am beyond excited to see what’s in store.
