Good Pop, Bad Pop by Jarvis Cocker

5.0

What a treat, Jarvis takes us on a rummage through his attic, literally, and presents the development of himself and Pulp along the way. With the bedrock of jumble sales (my regular haunt was St Augustine’s in Cambridge), hoarding (thankfully), family and friends, we get to understand how many were formed in the Th*tcherite years without painful politics, more an excruciating accident.

I am hoping there will be further delving and unfurling of Jarvis’ world and sociology. A fantastic book.
