Anarchy, State, and Utopia by Robert Nozick

Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.
Could tell it was right-libertarian from the first sentence of the preface; even wrote “is this some libertarian bs?” in the margins as a joke. Was immediately about to dnf it because I don’t find such ideas compelling at all. But, I was struck by his assertion that “even the reader unconvinced by my arguments should find that , in the process of maintaining and supporting his view, he has clarified and deepened it… intellectual honesty demands that, occasionally at least, we go out of our way to confront strong arguments opposed to our views”. And I like to think that I am nothing if not intellectually honest (and curious) so I decided to engage. I just couldn’t. I had too many wtf moments reading only ten percent of this to even want to hate-read it or even skim it like I do academic articles. It, in fact, turned out to be some libertarian bs.
