Three words: Seven Hot Boys
How could this book not be awesome if it has seven swoon-worthy men and a like-able protagonist?

Introductions is exactly what the title says: an introduction. We are shown all the main players of C.L. Stone’s The Academy and apart from teeny teasers about what’s to come. Nothing really happens. But there’s still so much going on in this story that I wasn’t bored for a second!

Sang, our girl, is a quiet one who wants to prove to her parents that the world outside is not full of rapists and murderers. She ventures out and finds herself becoming part of a group of seven boys. The twist being that Sang’s parents can’t find out about this budding friendship, because if they do, bad things will happen (suppressing urge to give a spoiler here.)

The boys, though extremely nice and perfect gentlemen are hiding something from Sang and she is confused about where that puts her. But that’s one of the reasons why I like her so much. She’s so loyal, and believing but at the same time she knows that being clingy is wrong. And I love the fact that she’s willing to take risks for herself.

I can’t pick my favorite guy in this book because they are all so good! Seven boys and not one got on my nerves! Loved the way Stone has given them different personalities and different voices and made them all so unique! But still if I had to pick one it would definitely be Kota (Dakota), the first guy to be introduced, the reason Sang finds the rest.

I would have loved it even more if this book had something else other than just introductions. Fine, the reveals in the end were really intriguing but I really was hoping for more.

The Final Words:
Multiple boys and one girl stories are usually interesting on a lot of levels. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would love to read the next part!
