The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by F. Scott Fitzgerald

4.0

Until today, I had never read the original story that inspired the movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". What struck me most about this tale is its profound reflection on the nature of time. Whether you are aging normally or growing younger like Benjamin Button, time is inexorable. The story beautifully conveys that mourning the passage of time and the loss of abilities is futile, because that’s simply the nature of time. Instead, it reminds us that the true value of life lies in the present moment, and the art of living is about embracing each moment fully.
