I have not read a book like this but I have read many like it at the same time. Most of the books I have read on the war and the holocaust barely touch on the post war mess everyone was in, but this one picks up from the camp being left.

The main character is an excellent example of how horrible events change people, and I would recommend this to many. Especially to those looking for a WWII story that is new and different.
