it was okay. in fairness for the plot and writing. the portrayal of human flaws and nature was the center of this whole sex-saturating lit. i think Sierra made a good job in showcasing the reality of temptation and lust, and the fragility of resisting it, even for priests. i know that this is not just fiction but inspired by real people, real stories; by our own experiences. i think she highlighted it pretty well via Father Bell's perspective and inner dialogues. we all have deep secrets and wild fantasies, and i think Poppy and Tyler's story encouraged me to explore and embrace mine. funny that of all the self-help books i've read this year, i would find a last moment profound realization from within myself in a smut lol. i also appreciate that she gave justice to their off start. however, i couldn't vote for the blasphemy in this that was so great and scattered especially when Tyler justifies his sexual fantasies using catholic and Godly references. i'm a bit worried how this will effect biblical dissemination. that's why i also couldn't enjoy this fully even for the raunchy scenes ;-)
