The artwork was everythingggggg! And I mean everything! I loved that so many bright and vibrant colors were used to capture the story of Hosea. There is so much passion that is illustrated in the main character for people and for music. I think that the author does a fantastic job of including jazz like elements into the text that makes the reader feel more connected to the music. I believe that this was actually based on the truth life of an individual that was willing to not only give free lessons to kids in the neighborhood, but also free instruments. It's such a heart-warming story that I think a lot of individuals would appreciate.
