If Catherine writes it I will buy it and I absolutely fell in love with this story and the characters in it.

This story was so different from her other series and I loved it so much! The Colson family was absolutely amazing and they just were so full of love, life and humor. Grandma Lolli was THE absolute best and I would take one of her art work projects any day!

Rhodes is such a strong FMC despite what she has been through. I loved her relationship with her family and their group chat! Each interaction she had with her found family had me laughing and kicking my feet.

Anson is the grumpy brooding MMC or as Lolli loves to call him "The Brooding God". Anson has been through trauma with his past life as a profiler and the loss he experienced. But when Anson comes across Rhodes his best friends sister his defenses start to slowly fall around her.

What I loved the most about this story was the suspense! The suspense was throughout the book while also allowing us to see our characters grow and fall for each other. Like all Catherine novels I always think it is one character and then poof Catherine throws me through a loop that has my jaw dropping and this one was so good and kept you on the edge of your seat. I really loved seeing Rho bring Anson out of his broody-ness and into her life of color. These two had a beautiful relationship that started off rocky then moved to friendship and more.

I honestly can not wait to get to know all the other family members in this series and get more of our famous Lolli! I really loved our found family in this book especially knowing most of the siblings are foster kids that the Colsons took in but acknowledge as their own.
