i think, perhaps, i am going to read everything Picoult has ever written actually. I just love her style?? She blends politics and science and emotion and the human experience (often the female experience specifically) into such compelling stories and realistic characters. She's so cool.

This short story representssomething of a prequel to Leaving Time, and WOW. It does that super rare thing of preserving the character of theoriginal story while still providing readers with new material to process. THAT'S SO DIFFICULT TO DO. Major kudos to Picoult for doing it and doing it well.
