I really wanted to love this book, but it ultimately fell flat for me. There was too many Doctor Who references (even for me who is obsessed with the show). I also just couldn’t get into the dialogue and miscommunication. There was a conflict scene that’s just so common that really put me off too.

The only redeeming quality for me was that the book discussed some serious topics and was dealt with well.
