To start off this is my first book from Lex Veia. And I absolutely loved it! For starters we have the two Mc's which are Shadow (Kit Winter) and Ghost (Zach Riley). The way her world building is so immaculate and the way she writes her charcters is unreal. I truthfully felt that I was watching a movie the entire timee, as apposed to reading the book. Absolute Major Deadpool vibes from Kit, not even going to lie. That's my baby. Almost cried when he was stabbed. And when he held ghost's hand?! Ugh tender moment. And when ghost was pleading for him to hold on till Doc showed up UGH
