A Life in Parts by Bryan Cranston
4.0
I've been a fan of Bryan Cranston since his Malcolm in the Middle days. He's an acting genius, so I was eager to hear the audiobook version of his memoir. Each chapter (or "part" of his life) focuses on a different role--son, father, Hal, chicken farmer, etc. I really enjoyed the manner in which he told his tale, and naturally the narration was quite good. Sometimes celebrity memoirs are just not enjoyable; you get the distinct impression that the only reason that book got published was because a celebrity wrote it. That is not the case here in the least. Cranston talks a great deal about his acting methodology, which I found to be quite enlightening. A good read!
