Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher
3.0
I’ll be honest, this was a struggle to get through. I almost DNF’d it at 33 percent through because I was just soooo bored. I don’t feel like I actually enjoyed it until the last 30 percent. And, besides the fact that I was bored, I had a few other problems with the book; the main one being that I felt like the attraction between the two main characters was almost all physical until the last few chapters. We just didn’t see a lot of bonding or quality time between them that wasn’t sex (which was detailed but fairly easily skippable. The explicit spice still definitely curbed my enjoyment of the book, though). To be fair, the reason I have skipped Lauren Asher’s books for so long (this is my first) is because she’s known for spice and I’m just straight-up not interested in that. Learned my lesson, I guess. I still ended up enjoying it in the end, though, so 3.5 stars.
