Enjoyed it

I came across this book as part of an ad for the company that made its cover. So yes, I judged the book by its cover. But I'm glad to have given this a chance. It was a bit like the Princess Mononoke anime by Studio Ghibli. I enjoyed the concepts of spirits most people can't see, the bond between a human and animal (involving some funny banter via telepathy), and healing the earth. It was a fairly quick read and I'll continue on with part 2.
