This is very easily my favorite of the series. I think that the chemistry between Venesa and Enzo was strong from the start, I loved the hint of insta-love (fact paced falling in love) and the intensity of their relationship had me SCREAMING. The drama was high, the plot was intense (I did sort of guess the plot twist however it didn't ruin anything for me the vibes were still good) and I was engaged from start to finish. I had such a fun time reading this and Enzo's protectiveness of Venesa was one of my favorite parts of this story. Every time they mentioned "loving out loud" I was a MESS. Such a good retelling with the villain as the star. Highly recommend this one, forbidden mafia GOODNESS
