The Wish List by Sophia Money-Coutts

I had little hopes for this book. I started it originally thinking it was just a book to read quickly as I’d had it for so long and just kept putting off reading it.

Well I’m glad I did! It was such a cute read and Florence might be one of my new favourite characters. She’s adorable and so relatable. I think reading her thoughts I felt like I was reading my diary but some of her decisions weren’t great (how did Rory not give her the ick sooner?! I would be out of there after the first time he shouted that god forsaken word).

Zach… he was dreamy, he’s the boy you don’t expect to fall for but you do anyway, he was always so kind to her and the present he gave her at the end was so heartfelt, I could only dream of that happening to me. I’m so glad she came to her senses and went to South America with him, such a beautiful love story! And to think they were complete opposites and co workers.

Overall I realised that sometimes love isn’t black and white and as Florence has found out maybe your type isn’t your type at all, I truly recommend this book and it’s a hidden gem - extremely predictable but so adorable anyway.

(Florence girl, Rory being a tory was BAD how did you not realise it’s a red flag…)
