This was a kind of weird story for me. It follows two characters who find love later in their life which is fine but I didn’t love the direction that it decided to go in. I clearly don’t know anywhere near enough about human biology because I was baffled when the FMC discovered that she was pregnant despite being in her 60s. I guess I knew technically it was possible but it just felt like a really weird decision for that to be the way their HEA looked.

Perhaps I am just a bit prudish or ageist but I also didn’t love that we saw (this was a graphic novel after all) these characters having sex on-page. It was tastefully done but it just took me by surprise and I didn’t love it.
