Loved it! I didn’t want it to end. Jude is a nicely fleshed out well-rounded main character. The plot was fast paced and I really didn’t know what was going to happen next. The male characters are complicated and not just one-note heroes or villains. Her relationship with each of her sisters is complex and challenging (like sibling interactions often are).
The dynamic with Madoc her stepfather/guardian is sweet but tinged with the tragedy of the death of her parents. In a lot of ways it’s classic Stockholm syndrome. Loving him comes easy but forgiveness is impossible. No one is what they seem. I’m looking forward to reading more!
