I remember reading these books as a kid and it’s so crazy seeing them again now that I’m 23! I really love these books and I plan on getting the next two volumes as well so I can enjoy these stories again! I loved going back to Heatherfield and the Sheffield Institute with these magical girls!

Of course there’s definitely some things where I’m like ...yikes...but overall it’s still just as fun and magical as a I remember! I had forgotten the “sort of” nudity like in sailor moon and naruto and it’s not like full nudity or anything like that but it was something I never thought would be in a books about kids who are 13-14 years old. And that’s another thing, these girls are 13-14 and are drawn as such in their normal appearance but when they transform they all of a sudden become like...16-18 year olds and look way more mature! I feel like this may have something to do with how much I wanted to be a teenager as a kid instead of enjoying being a kid...it’s not badass to look 11 apparently XD

Overall, this series will always hold an incredibly special place in my heart and I will always love the girls who brought me so much strength and magic to my life.
