YA horror debut featuring a haunted house pitched as perfect for fans of Mexican Gothic.

THOUGHTS
I enjoyed the storyline on how Jade was able to solve the mystery of the house that her father is renovating and I also liked Jade and Florence as a couple.

However, this is a horror and I was bot able to feel the atmosphere of horror that I was anticipating. The thrill is there with the way Jade communicates with the ghosts but aside from that, I got nothing. Maybe it's just me but I have a few favorites such as Mexican Gothic and Jake Livingston.
