I hated every character in this book and the story was at once convoluted and Basic. Ripped from the Twitter. No analysis,no point. The main black character was so insultingly underdeveloped that she could have been a puppy or a black shoe.
No surprise to see the author thank Lena Waithe at the end. This is the same sorta slapdash baloney she also keeps foisting on the world.
