The Symposium by Plato

4.0

Socrates and a few others are dining and discussing issues on eros, sexual and platonic love, friendship, etc. Certain parts were interesting and others went over my head. I enjoyed a lot more the banter between them than the actual philosophical discussions. At times, it was pretty funny. I much prefer The Symposium by Xenophon, but that doesn't mean that The Symposium by Plato was any less worth reading.
