What a beautiful dual timeline story that had historical fiction and romance!!

It’s 1946 in Genoa Italy and we meet Vincenzo and Giovanna, they lock eyes and it’s love. Giovanna is the daughter of a tailor and works with her father in his shop, Vincenzo is the son of a count his family own a vineyard that’s called Villa Della Rosa. Both from completely different worlds, they look past this and only see a deep and passionate relationship and Vincenzo reveals he would rather be an artist than working at the Vineyard. During this budding romance we see that the first time in Italian history, women will be able to cast their vote in an institutional referendum. Vincenzo and Giovanna watch and realize they have no idea what affect this will have on their romance.
Dual Timeline
We meet in New York, 2017. Cassandra and Luca who are in love. Luca is an extremely talented artist and Cassandra promotes fashion. Luca comes from a wealthy family his parents has a family winery in Italy, and they are able to travel between the two countries. Cassandra is the first person from her family that goes to college and her brothers and father work in construction. Cassandra and Luca get in engaged and he comes up with a plan to paint his grandfather with Cassandra’s grandmother when he convinces his grandfather and Cass's grandmother to pose for the painting, we watch as the past and present collide and soon reveal a secret that changes everything. I truly loved this book and the dual timeline added depth to the story. This was the perfect mix of romance and historical fiction and I can’t recommend this book enough!!
