The Girl with Stars in Her Eyes by Xio Axelrod
4.0
I'd actually say that this book felt more like women's fiction than romance, but I still really enjoyed it. The story focuses a lot on Toni and her life and struggles. We do get a glimpse into Sebastian's life as a way to understand why the two of them had to spend time apart. I loved the characters and the side characters were fun, as well. This was my first book by Xio Axelrod, and I'll definitely be back for more.
Spice content: Two relatively shorter spicy scenes. Plenty of heat and descriptors to keep it locked into a not clean romance but also isn't overly dirty.
I would say this book is a read beginner romance read if you're not sure if romance is for you, but us seasoned folks can also very much enjoy it.
