So good- truly wish I had read Part of Your World so that the tie at the end would have been more impactful; but even then I knew enough about the series to understand and be excited to catch it! It did get me to pause to see if I could understand why Amber (and real parents) treat their own children like that.. I to ended up disliking her strongly towards the end. Most of the book , like Emma, I was trying to give Amber the benefit of the doubt. In terms of Emma, I enjoyed her character overall; I personally believe people are able to heal while still being in a relationship, nonetheless the choice to leave is still HER choice and ultimately what was best for her and Justin’s siblings, even Justin himself. I will say in the last chapter I was kind of hoping Justin would not have made it easy for her to come back, I was actually surprised at how stand off-ish he was being; but ultimately they love each other and the heart wants what it wants. Love the book! Choose empathy over anger! But it’s okay to show your anger in a healthy way as to not bottle it up’ honestly, show all emotions and love yourself!
