I didn't know that I needed this series until I finished it. Wow! Now I'm wishing there was more than 3 members in the band. Lol This book was so raw, and painful, but it was so beautiful. I cried a few times. This is my first read by Rebecca, and I'm surprised I haven't read her sooner. Looking up her backlist!⁣

When Nixon was first introduced in Lies and Lullabies, I was so intrigued by him. He was such a broken man that he turned to drugs, alcohol, and sex to get rid of his demons. He's always craving for the adrenaline. Zoe was the assistant of Hush Notes manager. She was sassy, feisty, and a strong heroine. There was a moment that I couldn't help but bawled my eyes with her. The minute Nixon got out of rehab, she was assigned to be with him 24/7. He's always liked Zoe, but he knows she's too good for him so he never made a move. Those banters was everything! The steamy scenes was totally hot. With Nixon's past, he needs someone who would love him enough to overlook his demons. Zoe was perfect for him. ⁣

The way how Rebecca wrote their love story was so perfectly done. It was tugging at my heart throughout the whole book. Love it so freaking much. I highly, highly recommend you to read the series. It's only 3 books, and they are so worth it!! ⁣
