Dracul by J.D. Barker, Dacre Stoker
5.0
I really liked the construction of the novel (via letters and diary entries) which, of course, reminds me of the "original" Dracula. And we get to hear from a few different character's perspectives including Bram's sister Matilda, who I kind of wanted more of, but I know the story was mostly about Bram.
Dracul acts like a prequel to Dracula and the author's note at the end is equal parts fascinating and terrifying if it is true. In short, the note talks about how Bram Stoker did believe in the existence of Dracul.
It's a great read for any fans of Dracula!
