Hexed by Emily McEntire is a dark take on The Little Mermaid, flipping the script by casting Ariel as the villain and Ursula—here reimagined as Venesa—the anti hero. This dark mafia retelling breathes new life into a classic tale, offering a richly layered story filled with lies, betrayal, and forbidden romance.

The relationship between Venesa and Enzo made me swoon and scream. Their slow-burn dynamic is brimming with tension and longing, creating emotional depth that keeps readers invested.

If you’re a fan of fairytale retellings with a darker twist and a romance that simmers before it ignites, Hexed is a must-read. It’s a compelling blend of danger and passion that will leave you enchanted.
