Low Tide by Dawn Lee McKenna
3.0
This book was a smooth, nice, easy read. An easy one to get through in just a few hours. Character development is solid without being overdone and the transition from one storyline to another was very well done.
Unfortunately, there were no real shockers or hair-raising experiences here and while I can understand what the author is attempting to accomplish by generating interest in the next book of the series, this first book could have still benefitted from a bit more substance at the end; at less than 200 pages, there was ample room for the extra.
I likely will read on in the series in time.
