How To Bite Your Neighbor & Win A Wager by D.N. Bryn
Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.

I’m not gonna say that the authors past interactions with a certain Freylor were definitely racially motivated. But given the treatment of Hispanic character in this book, I’m gonna say there was Something there.
It wasn’t a particularly good book, but I had to tap out on the Mexican accented mother but the son has a purely American accent in Spanish that just “slips out.” Like. Hello what.
Also bizarre to focus so much on the fantasy racism the vampires experience, but say nothing about the racism involved with a Mexican woman being unethically experimented on by a pharmaceutical, killed, and her death covered up.
