didn’t realize this was the third book in a series and I don’t think this is supposed to be read as a stand-alone. too alpha male for me. will never ever be able to reconcile a man who calls women “females” more than once, even if he is a sweet foster parent to his niece.  Wes just seems super horny (again, maybe just missed crucial build up from the rest of the series) and Bethany is just … there. 

just going to pretend that a different Tessa Bailey wrote these for now, even though I love her writing style.
