I’ve never been disappointed by any of CJ’s books but I think this series might be my new favorite because common… time travel with a mix of fated mates?! The best kind of world.

Kieran and Wulfric took a while to get together but man, when they did, it was instant sparks. The two would do anything for the other and I absolutely loved it. 

I loved how Wulfric’s aunt found Kieran because without her, it would have taken these two time to meet. And can I say what an arse that Kieran’s ex was. Even when he time traveled to make mends with his friends and family, the man was still trying to make him feel bad about his anxiety. I’m glad Kieran didn’t let his words affect him.

I love the action and angst that we get in this book because it made everything tie together. I absolutely loved the found family and love how Wulfric’s other two brothers welcomed Kieran into the family. What Wulfric’s other brother did to Kieran multiple times made me want to strangle him.

It made me so thrilled when Kieran finally opened up to both his other brothers about the day their father did because it was truly eating him up. And the brothers didn’t blame him for anything. That was such an emotional scene and I was here for it.

I really hope we get to get a book from one of Wulfric’s brother, who will get his redemption because come on, I need to know!
