I bought this book so that I could ‘watch’ the first series of good omens whenever I wanted, and I was obviously not disappointed. Having read/listened to the book and audiobook so many times, I’m now able to read many of the lines (particularly the David Tennant and Michael Sheen lines) in the voices of the actors reading them, which is always very entertaining!! I also loved reading all of the stage directions and everything, as they were very interesting and informative (in a comedic way) - as Neil Gaiman made lots of jokes and comments in the stage directions, which very much add to the ‘ambulance’ (as Madame Tracy would say) of the book!
The deleted scenes were also very satisfying - as they very much helped you imagine some key scenes in a more ‘cinematographic’ way than in the book, in particularly the “other four bikers of the apocalypse” scene, which was just as brilliant as in the novel!
I will definitely be reading this over and over again!
