This is a book I’m excited to see as a movie and that would probably make a better movie! Reading it made me feel I was reading a combination of Crazy Rich Asians and the movie Anyone But You. I did appreciate the theme of money and the contrast of someone who comes from working class being thrown into the 1%; while this book is probably meant to be a fun beach read, I do wish there was more depth in the topic of class. But for what it is, and perhaps the audience, the book did decent. In reality, I don’t Anna and Liam would ever work out. Like there’s no way and they didn’t seem to have Anya crisp chemistry or emotional connection; it felt as if the authors were forcing it out of nowhere to make seem like it’ll a work. . It was a fun and easy read! I would recommend people read it on vacation or at a beach!
