it’s taken me actual days to come up with the thoughts I have on this perfect book to write an honest review 🥹 otherwise, it would have been me gushing for twelve paragraphs …
I was wary and excited when I picked this one up because of the hype surrounding it right now, but rest assured - I loved every single second of it!!
every summer, every lick of an ice cream cone, every dive off the pier, every textbook read, every swim, every single connection had me swooning.
if you’ve ever spent a summer away from your home, you’ll know what I’m talking about. there’s a buzz from no school, freedom and lake days ahead, and endless sunny days. that nostalgia was captured absolutely effortlessly by carley 😭❤️
I could spend hours on the lake listening to sam and charlie and percy stories because not only are they adorable, they’re worth listening to.
life changes are the worst, and as someone who is going through a lot of them all at once, this realistic happiness was exactly what I needed 🥹
I bawled my eyes out throughout the most of this, and I would recommend this to just about everyone who has a heartbeat ❤️
so I lied, this was still me gushing for twelve straight paragraphs anyway 🤭
rating: 5 (million?) stars
