This was an absolutely delightful family read, savored in small bits while snuggling together on the couch!  The drawings are delicate, detailed, and stunning.  The book reads like a naturalist guide: from species' nomenclature and anatomy, to habitats, defenses, and relationships with flora and fauna.  For any family who loves studying birds, animals, and plants... A Natural History of Fairies is a treasure!
